Earlier this year, the LEGO Group released an album on Spotify (and other streaming platforms). The album does not contain music, though; it’s a collection of seven half-hour-long white noise tracks.
It’s probably exactly what you’d imagine: each track is filled with the sound of LEGO® bricks. Surprisingly, they each are unique and have a different flavor; “The Waterfall” is akin to an endless tub of bricks dumped onto the floor. “Built for Two” reminds me of building a set side-by-side with my wife. The “It All Clicks” track sounds like popcorn popping… with LEGO® bricks.
I enjoy this playlist quite a bit. It’s calm and quiet, and nice for focusing on a project. I’ve listened to it to try and fall asleep, and when I’ve worked on some more mentally taxing projects. Understandably, this album isn’t for everyone; I could see this become a distraction to some people. But if you’re the kind of person who likes to have some low white noise or ASMR in the background while you work, or you want to relive some LEGO®-related nostalgia, I highly recommend LEGO® White Noise.
In case you’re interested, the LEGO Group has posted a short video on how they put together this album; you can watch it below.
