Hey all. First off, I know it’s been a while since I’ve written anything. My attention has been elsewhere and life has been busy. Despite that, though, I’ve managed to squeeze a little time into games, and I wanted to write about those this year (like last year).
Like before, I’ll try to stick to a paragraph or so per game. Unlike last year, I’m going to list some games that I’ve played,
Continue ReadingEarlier this year, the LEGO Group released an album on Spotify (and other streaming platforms). The album does not contain music, though; it’s a collection of seven half-hour-long white noise tracks.
It’s probably exactly what you’d imagine: each track is filled with the sound of LEGO® bricks. Surprisingly, they each are unique and have a different flavor; “The Waterfall” is akin to an endless tub of bricks dumped onto the floor.
Continue ReadingThe epic finale to the DOOM Eternal story arrives with The Ancient Gods Part Two. This was the follow-up to my favorite game of 2020: a culmination of all of the gameplay and story so far, concluding with an epic battle against the Dark Lord himself. This one’s for all the marbles.

Continue ReadingNote: like other DLC reviews, I will only be covering the Steel Dawn questline in this review – not the rest of the base game changes. This is going to be a shorter review than what I’ve done in the past, as it is a smaller DLC. In addition, this post does contain spoilers.
Steel Dawn is the first questline in a larger story arc centered around the Brotherhood of Steel’s return to Appalachia.
Continue ReadingNote: for this review for The Elder Scrolls Online: Markarth, like any future review I may do for an ESO DLC, I only cover the content present in the DLC itself. I will not discuss the base game changes that came with this patch. Also note that there are minor visual spoilers present; I only took screenshots from the early portion of the expansion.
